I had a productive back-road-ramble last Monday. We had a furnace repairman out, so I had to take Gus with me to keep him from eating the poor guy. Fortunately, he behaved himself and didn't bark at the birds.
The scissor-tail flycatchers are back. I don't remember seeing them this early last year.
A female bluebird posed on a barbed wire fence.
There was an entire flock of cedar waxwings in a tree. This is my first shot and the only good one out of 20 plus shots. The rest were too dark.

...wonderful, the first two I never see and the last one only occasionally.
