These barns are for storing hay to feed the cattle and horses during the winter. Yesterday I saw several ranchers in the hay fields getting ready for a new supply.
...I see barns similar to these here, but without such flat roofs. Barns here aren't as important for hay storage these days. Pretty much everyone wraps round bale in plastic, that has changed the rural landscape. Thank Betty for stopping by, take care!
