Birds have been few and far between over the winter months. I'm happy to say some are back. My first sighting of a Cormorant was last spring. I only saw one. This year I found a tree full with several swimming in the pond.
These are beautiful pictures of the cormorants. There are hundreds in the ports here. The fishermen are not happy with these birds, they eat all the fish. Best regards Irma
I gebnerally see more birds in winter as they come here for food. Sadly there is nowhere nearby that I can go and sit and watch. Have a good week, Diane

That is absolutely AMAZING Betty. A good number of them. Maybe this is a good sign you'll have a lot of birds this Spring.

ReplyDeleteVery nice photographs, especially your last one.

I love the cormorants. They have arrived to my place as well. Especially in spring when they have breeding plumage the head is gorgeous.
