    Nice "E's", Betty. I like to watch the egrets here, along the edges of the water's banks of our local green space/retention ponds. The ponds connect through a stream about four feet or less wide. They sit for hours waiting for something edible to float by. For them or their families still in the nests. Seems yours is doing that now. Guess next I'll choose the elephant. I like them, this is a nice picture. Have you read the book, "Water for elephants?" It's more about the caretaker rather than elephants.

      I have read Water for Elephants. It was a good book. As I was typing this comment, an egret flew by in front of the living room window. There are several around here and they like the ponds on this property.

    I love the slender and lovely egret - so elegant! that is one adorable doggie! The elephant is rally big - and I can feel his power in this view. All very nice subjects!
