There isn't much to see between Arlington and Wall, SD.
Last trip, we had no problem finding a parking space. This trip, we didn't have many choices. Lots of tourists checking out the tourist trap. That includes us.
Not much to see between Wall and Hill City either. Wide open spaces. I like.
We arrived in Hill City, SD in the early afternoon. We checked into our hotel and then walked down the main street. Last November the streets were nearly empty. Not in July!
The Bumpin Buffalo was closed in November, so we decided to have dinner there.
We had a seat in the open space at the top of the building overlooking the street. Just above the B in Bumpin. Picture below.
After dinner, we sat on a bench and people watched. My favorite pastime.
