Another perfect walking day. The late summer flowers are in bloom. They look nice next to the windmill.
We came upon this buffalo and her calf.
Gus went ballistic, barking his mean bark and trying to herd the critters away from his food people. His hair was standing up. Once Gus decided they were properly terrorized, he calmed down.
These flowers were plentiful.
This is the walkway to see the marshland, but the marshland was mostly dry land. We sure could use some rain.
I hope next time there will be some water fowl.
Oh, wow, just looked this place up...not that far from me! Not at my back door but I go to Arthur and don't think this is any farther.
