Starts with C: CLOUDS start with C. It was a CLOUDY day, but they soon passed and the sun came out. I might post this one again next week. It is my favorite picture taken of Devil's Tower. I like dark clouds. I fell in love with them when I discovered El Greco's painting titled View of Toledo. I think I was in the 6th grade.
Favorite: This COW was lounging in the sunshine on the way to Devil's Tower.
Couple: Of course, I can't have a post without a horse. How about a COUPLE of CURIOUS horses on a hill?
Just Because: This CONTINENTAL DIVIDE sign was in Grand Teton National Park.
And Finally: How about a CUTE little CAROLINA wren? I think they are the loudest bird we have around the house.

...your recent trip yielded a bumper CROP of Cs! Devil's Tower sure is a sight to behold. I think that I'd keep by distance from that COW! The CONTINENTAL Divide at 9658 feet is a far difference from 350 feet where I live. I'm not sure if we have any CUTE little CAROLINA wrens here. Thanks Betty for joining in this week, take care.

ReplyDeleteHi Betty, I too like that little Carolina Wren, and the pose you got. We dont have pretty colored wrens like that around Houston. You had a nice trip, I doubt we will take many of those again. Maybe up to Nebraska and Iowa to bisit relatives. We were in North Louisiana over the weekend to see Mrs. Jim's sister. She has COVID-19 now after her terrible stroke so our visit was through her window to outside. Also before being released from the hospital, cured from double pneumonia, she went to Hospice status.

"Effingham" ... we made up a joke during being their traveling time there, that the reason why it is called that is 'cause those "Effingham" stoplights get u ever time. no one is sitting at the light and it turns immediately when u come through, we don't cuss ... so that works. LOL! just joking of course. glad to see you again. i get the blogging break ... i always enjoy seeing the folks i see on the routine ... and i miss so many who are - well i don't know what happened to them, so many just disappeared, there was a lady from Ontario i believe, sadly she was in a car wreck and past away, bless her and her family, i think about them often, i was friends with her on FB and i just had to let her go, i couldn't take seeing that sad news over and over (her birthday or other holidays that FB would remind me of, so sad. she was a younger lady). remember Theresa from Texas ... think about her all the time. when we are in TX ...which has not been in a long time ...i always wished i could (or would) see her in person ... wouldn't that be awesome!! take care. love your critter shots.
