  2. These are great Betty!! This is a gem of a post. Regarding kingbirds...to me, they ALL look alike. lol Around here there are western, couch's AND tropical. Your guess is as good as mine. Oftentimes, I go by the area they're spotted. Then, there are juveniles that can be 'different'.

  5. Hi Betty. I do like Plovers and the Killdeer was 9is0 one of my favourites since I grew accustomed to seeing and hearing them on my visits to Canada many years ago. It would be lovely to see them again but for now that's a very nice photo to be going on with.
