The Weekend Roundup - D,E, & F

I'm Late! Excuse: I've been writing and editing to meet a deadline.

This week's assignment will encompass D, E, & F.

Starts with D: Took a drive up to Pawhuska, OK for a visit to Rhee DRUMMOND'S Mercantile to shop and have lunch. This beauty was parked outside.

Starts with E: Willa the mule's EYE starts with E.

Starts with F: FOAL starts with F. Isn't she a beauty?

Favorites:

DUN: This is a DUN mare and mother-to-be. Can't wait to see her foal.

EAGLE: The EAGLES are back in their nest. This is the third year in a row since we discovered them. Hope they keep coming back. I love seeing them.

FLEABIT ROAN: Another beautiful mother-to-be. Wonder what her baby will look like.

Dawn: No words needed.

Elephant: Taken through the window during a wedding. The couple were from India.

Fast: Not only is the song fast, but so is the tree falling.

Have a great weekend!

  1. ...FABULOUS post to catch up. The truck is a DODGE Power Wagon, the first truck that I owned. There sure some beautiful horses in your neck of the woods! Take care and stay well.

  2. I like every item you showed, good on catching up. I am likely to do the same fairly soon. The three mares are all beauties. Do you think that tree fell to tree rustlers? We lost several pine trees on a lot we own, at night a tree rustler group came through our unoccupied section of a rural subdivision near Trinity, Texas, which is northwest a bit from Livingston.

    1. You went to Pawhuska, OK, to eat and shop a little. One of our sons, a chemical engineer, worked at Phillips Bartlesville back in the mid '70s. We visited him going to Nebraska or when visiting relatives in north Louisiana. He bought a house on a ridge, his basement opened at the rear to look down the canyon.

  4. Beautiful shots, Betty! I just love all your animal captures, especially the eye on that mule! We, also have eagles that nest very close by. I've been visiting them for many years now. Always nice to see them. Have a good weekend!
