Weekend Roundup - K

In case anyone is wondering, Blackthorne Cove, my first novel, is doing very well. So far every review has 5 stars on Amazon. I'm surprised, but pleased. I've received a lot of good feedback, which keeps me editing novel #2. Now on to Weekend Roundup.

This week's assignment is Starts with K, Favorite, and Kind.

Starts with K: KAYAK starts with K. Found this man enjoying a beautiful day on a lake in the Wichita Mountains.

Favorite: I found another favorite horse picture. This is KEMOSABE, my friend.

Kind: Being KIND to one another. I'll scratch your back if you'll scratch mine.

Happy Weekend!

  1. ...KAYAK is a good word that I hadn't thought of.
    ...KEMOSABE is beautiful.
...and your pair of horses are two different KINDS and KIND to each other.
Thanks Betty for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.

  3. How nice that your novel is doing so well and I wish you a good sequel to it. I also think the horse and the name are very special and beautiful. Kayaking long ago for me but the last picture also gave me a very good feeling because kindness needs man and animal very much in this new life where corona is still present and probably will never go away. Wish you beautiful days Betty.

  4. Hi Betty,
My husband and I started kayaking about 20 years ago. We have a tandem kayak, and over the years we put it in 14 different lakes and ponds in New Hampshire. Most memorable was Squam Lake (On Golden Pond) and the one we visited the most was Mirror Lake. We loved it, but stopped kayaking a few years ago. I also, like the word kayak, because it's a palindrome, and I love those, LOL!
As always, your horse photos are lovely. Have a really, nice weekend.
