Starts with L: LIGHTHOUSE starts with L. This replica is located on the shore of LAKE Hefner in Oklahoma City, OK. 
Favorite: My favorite? A horse of course. This is Reba in the foreground and LIZZY in the background. 
Landscape: I found this picturesque LANDSCAPE in western Oklahoma. It is part of the Wichita Mountains.

ReplyDeleteBetty, I am glad you are exploring Oklahoma, thank you for sharing your finds. The horses are wonderful. I guess you drive along and take pictures for us, naming them as you go. You may have some of your own? The lighthouse is neat, we have a few still standing around here along the Gulf Coast, most are tourist attractions and can be visited inside. My sister has an affinity for Lighthouses. I don't think there are any in her state, Iowa.
ReplyDeleteMy son lived and worked at Eldorado for a couple of stints at Eldorado. My middle granddaughter lived in Oklahoma, in McAllister, for three years. She works for BP and is in Supply Chain Management which is the old 'procurement' part of distribution if you studied that. Then she met her husband arund Dallas and they married in Houston. Soon after she was transferred to Alaska, they loved that also.

p.s. In about an hour I am going to watch the Nebraska / Oklahoma game. I hope Nebraska doesn't get skunked, they aren't looking good this year, but I pull for them as I went there my first year and a half. I put Harry Husker out in the front yard when they play, it a wooden one that I bought my mother back in the 1970's. My other alma mater is the University of Houston where I finished in 11 years while working as an Aerospace Engineer at NASA Houston.
