This week's assignment is Starts with F, Favorite, and Fresh.
Starts with F: FLOWERS start with F. This is a variety of ditch FLOWERS I saw during one of our backroad rambles.
Favorite: Mama left her FOAL alone when the rancher poured FOOD into the trough. She kept a close eye on him though.
Fresh: This is my tall grandson picking peaches from the tree in the backyard. FRESH FRUIT. Yum!

That was fun! (Get it?!)
ReplyDelete...Betty, FABULOUS FLOWERS, a FOWL and FRESH FRUIT, mighty FINE!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tom.
DeleteNice post, Betty, I enjoyed being here, it brought memories. Your Flower Finds are neat, my favorite is the Red Thistle or Star Thistle. We treated them as a noxious weed although every part of it is edible. You can make tea of the stems and leaves. But does rob growing crops and stick grazing animals. We chopped ours when found.
ReplyDeleteThe little colt, Foal, seems to be contented to wait for Moma. It reminds me of the mother deers in the Rockies, they have a parking place for parking their little ones while they graze.
..
I didn't know they are edible. Good info in case we have to become survivalists. :)
DeleteA sweet little horse.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, and I love the foal!
