The Weekend Roundup - H

This weeks prompts: Starts with H, Favorite, and Half.

Starts with H: HAT starts with H. This is my HAT which was specially made for me by Shaffer HAT Works.

It was getting a little flat, so I took it to a western store for a pick-me-up. Lots of HATS HERE. This guy is steaming and reshaping my HAT.

Favorite: I doubt anyone will be surprised to find HORSES presented as my favorite H. These horses are owned by the McCoy ranch. They are local celebrities, having been on The Amazing Race. They are also professional bull riders.

Half: This is only a HALF tree after the electric company trimmed it away from the wires.

Just Because: HEART tattoo. HUBS wanted to remind himself of the day he died and came back to life. Thank you CPR.

And Finally: While visiting my son in Franklin, TN, caught my daughter enjoying coffee outside on the porch. She was twirling her HAIR.

What the Heck, One More: It's the Flyin' H Ranch!

  1. I am glad that you found the Flyin H Ranch. Every ranch needs a sign like that. The fellow did a nice job on your hat. It is a pretty one. I am sure you are liking Oklahoma now with the Western atmosphere and horses and cattle just about everywhere. I hope your hubby is doing fine now.

    1. Hubby is much improved. We like living in OK. We both lived in Texas for over 30 years. This isn't quite Texas, but close.

    1. Lots of hats, cattle, and horses around here. It's ranch country. Haven't seen a flyin' horse, but they might only come out at night. :)

  3. Wow. What a great collection of H's! That half a tree looks fake. Love your hat and the horses. I think I'd even get a tattoo if I had the experience your husband had! Happy weekend to you!

  5. That's an AWESOME tattoo, I love it! I like tattoos that have special meaning. I do not have any tattoos, but believe it or not, it is on my bucket list. I would love the word "hope" on my foot in cursive, with a blue ribbon in the E for prostate cancer. Love your "half" photo, too! Have a good week, Betty.
