I saw this on another blog and thought I would try it on Mondays for the week ahead.
Outside my window ... A squirrel, eyes darting back and forth searching for danger while filling his cheeks with corn from the ears I put by the trunk of their tree, as if stealing instead of accepting a gift.
I am thinking ... I should be editing, but there are chores to finish first.
I am thankful ... summer is still here, but looking forward to September and cooler temperatures.
I am wearing ... my favorite sandals to show off pretty pink nail polish.
I am creating ... a final chapter ending is swirling around inside my head.
I am going ... for a drive with Gus and Hubby later.
I am reading ... Hidden Nature by Nora Roberts
I am hoping ... for one more cup of coffee.
I am learning ... how much I dislike cleaning the shower
I am pondering ... what picture to post for the 'high' prompt for Weekend Roundup's letter H.
Around the house ... the grass is growing and needs attention.
In the kitchen ... nothing yet. No idea what to plan for dinner.
One of my favorite things ... watching rodeo. I stayed up too late last night to see who won the all-around.
A few plans for this week ... mundane housework, a backroad ramble, and maybe find a new restaurant to try for lunch.
A peek into my day ...
...those chores will be waiting.
