Saturday Critters

I believe this is the last of the hummers until spring. I haven't seen one in a week, but will leave a feeder up for until mid-October in case a straggler stops by.

This garden spider came for a visit. I hoped it would stop and build a beautiful web where I could see it. Sadly, he moved on.

  1. Hello,
Love the hummer photo and that spider looks huge. My hummingbirds have been gone for weeks now, I miss seeing them. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for your visit and comment.

  7. What a beautiful hummer. We didn't see as many this summer for some reason. Lots of butterflies though! Happy weekend!

  8. I have never seen a spider with those colours, the most we get here is probably a katipo which is red and black and those are few and far between.

  9. Hello, :=) Beautiful Hummer, probably the last one of the season. I am still thinking about what you said in your comment. I hope the Blue Tit was not a life one? That's an interesting Spider, one I have never seen. All beautiful captures.:=)
