I've been out of town, so playing catch up by posting both W and X today.
Starts with W: WATER begins with W.
Starts with X: X-RAY begins with X. This is the X-Ray of hubby's hand after it was de-gloved in a printing press.
Favorite: WIND. Ha! Found a WAY to include my favorite critters. It was a very WINDY day.
Weather: WAITING for the tornado WARNING that is bound to follow these clouds.
Looks like an X: This look like an X to me.
Linking to The Weekend Roundup
Hi Betty, I play "catch up" a lot! I'm trying so hard to get back in a normal routine, hopefully the start of the new year will be a new beginning. You picked out some good photos for the two letters. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

Betty, you have been sooo clever here coming back from your absence. Those tornados are horrible, we are hearing of at least 70 folks killed in just one in Kentucky last night. We had them in Nebraska also, but none here near the Gulf Coast. The winds they might call a tornado really is just a small circular wind.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found a photo of your favorite horses, they don't seem to mind the wind. That was really bad what happened with the printing press. I've always wanted a personal sized, hand cranked printer of my own to print postcards. But it's off my bucket list now, never would it fit in when we downsize. I hope my ham radio stuff does. I wanted to get some contrail photos this week also, not an X but they were only visible when the planes would fly out from the low hanging clouds. I hadn't seen that before.
I hope your sojourn was nice, it seems to always be. And have a Merry Christmas.

...WATER and WATERFALL are WONDERFUL W WORDS!
ReplyDelete...I recently cut a finger with a saw and had an XRAY, they didn't give me a copy!
...you found a WONDERFUL WAY to show WINDY WEATHER.
...I hope that it's only a tornado WARNING.
...and it looks like an X to me too.
Thanks Betty for stopping by, take care.
Ouch on that x-ray. I had to have one done not too long ago.
ReplyDeleteAll five are good :)

ReplyDeleteGreat X is the sky and your horses are huddled together from the windy. Love the XRAYED hand. Have a great week ahead
