Meadowlark & Crow

Hubby gave me a new camera for Christmas. I had a Canon SX50 and now I have the SX70. I think the 50 takes better pictures in low light, but I'll give the new one a chance. These are from the 70.

I haven't found many birds the last couple of weeks, but did see this Meadowlark sitting on a fence post...

...and Mr. Crow hanging out in a dead tree.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy 2019.

  5. I see meadowlarks but they are never still long enough, close enough to get a shot.

  7. The birds are gorgeous! Well, I have the SX50 so I can't wait to hear how you like your new one. I'm tempted to get something different but I've been happy with this one and it still gets such good reviews. Let me know is the new one is better when you've had a chance to really compare. It's exciting to get something new and improved! Happy new year!
